Article Focus:
From the pages of the September-October 2011 issue of Creative COW Magazine, three-time EMMY® winner, Sean Mullen has joined the Creative COW team as our new Creative Director.

Sean Mullen recently joined Creative COW as our Creative Director. He and his wife, Stefanie, moved to Paso Robles, California from Nashville, Tennessee. In the two months that they have been here, many on the team have remarked that Sean fits our company so well that it's almost as if he's always been here.

In his new position as Creative Director, Sean has been working with Tim Wilson and me on the magazine, as well as me and Abraham Chaffin to help design our new web interface. The new www.creativecow.net homepage is an example of the kinds of ideas that you can expect for the rest of Creative COW site in the days ahead.

Sean is a three-time EMMY(R) award winning designer whose work over the last 15 years includes shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, E.R., Charmed, Roswell, NCIS, Nip/Tuck and many others. He regularly consults with effects teams from both film and episodic series on solving intricate design issues.

While much of his career has revolved around visual effects, Sean is a skilled designer whose talents encompass print, the web and more. Sean was one of the first graduates of Full Sail University and has worked for Peter Kuran at VES -- creator of the historic Pyromania(TM) stock footage series from many years ago, arguably the first royaltyfree effects package of any real note -- along with working for Disney and others over the years.

Getting Sean and Stefanie here to the COW took acquiring their company, Rampant Design Tools, so that all of us could focus on building the future of Creative COW. So, with this acquisition, the Rampant Design Tools line of 3K effects packages has become our very first product line to carry the new Creative COW Master Tools™ series branding. They will also soon roll out with the new Creative COW StockYard™ royalty-free media service. Sean has been instrumental in the design and creation of the StockYard™.

Sean has an enthusiastic can-do attitude and has quickly made himself a valuable part of the Creative COW team. Sean is leaving his fingerprints all over many areas of the COW and we look forward to seeing what new ideas and designs he comes up with in the days ahead.

As Creative COW continues to grow, we'll continue to add new faces and talents to the Creative COW Team, so that we can expand our services to you. Sean Mullen is the newest member and we couldn't be happier to have him on board. His enthusiasm is contagious and he brings exciting new possibilities for the days ahead.
