 Mike Fink pioneered the role of the freelance VFX Coordinator in a career that has spanned a thirty years, and whose first three projects were "The China Syndrome," "Star Trek: The Motion Picture," and "Blade Runner." He is also a founding member of the Visual Effects Society, and a member of the Executive Committee of the Visual Effects Branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. He was recognized in 2008 for his role as Senior Visual Effects Supervisor on "The Golden Compass" with an Academy Award(R), a BAFTA award, and a VES nomination. |
